The Tourist eVisa allows visitors to enter Oman for leisure, sightseeing, and recreational purposes. It is electronically linked to your passport and must be obtained prior to travel.

Passport-Sized Photograph

Recent colour photograph (taken within 6 months), white background, full face visible, no headwear (unless for religious reasons).

Minimum size: 35mm × 45mm, at least 400×514 pixels if digital.

Fully completed online application with accurate personal and passport details as they appear in the travel document.

Return / Onward Flight Ticket

Required

Confirmed return or onward flight booking showing departure from Oman within the visa validity period.

Accommodation & Financial Proof

Hotel Booking Confirmation

Required

Confirmed reservation for the entire duration of stay in Oman. Must show applicant name, hotel name, check-in and check-out dates.

Bank Statement

Required

Last 3 months' bank statements demonstrating sufficient funds (minimum OMR 50 per day of stay recommended).

Travel Insurance

Optional

Valid travel/health insurance policy covering the duration of stay in Oman. Minimum coverage of USD 30,000 recommended.

Highly recommended. May be required for certain nationalities.

Important Notes & Reminders

  • 1eVisa must be obtained before boarding your flight. Arrival without a valid visa will result in denial of boarding.
  • 2Passport data page scan must be clear and legible — all corners of the page must be visible.
  • 3Applicant photo must not be older than 6 months and must have a plain white background.
  • 4The visa validity period begins from the date of issue, not entry date.
  • 5Extension of stay beyond 30 days must be applied for at the Royal Oman Police before expiry.
